When we die.

Where do we go when we die, is it afterlife or just decomposition of the body into mother earth. we don't know but that doesn't stop us from what ...

When will we die? What happens after death?

Well, nobody can answer these perfectly or logically. But, death is something inevitable type that was always there, that is there and that will always be there till there is life, then how can we be so unaware of it. We don’t  know when will we die? But we definitely know we all are dying. Here is how.

About everyone of us are aware of the fact that we all are made up of some tiny entities, the cell. One of the most spectacular and amazing creation of nature we all admire. The cells are something that we can’t create, but they rise from their pre-existing ancestors within us. Rudolf Virchow quoted “omnis-cellula-a-cellula” in his publication, that means only a pre-existing cell is able to give bring a new cell, that means they can’t be created they are born.

We are also aware about the fact that everything that born destines to die, it’s equally true for those tiny entities which make up our body. We are sure that they are taking birth always as each one of us do grow, then we can simultaneously add that they do die frequently. Question may arise then how am I still alive.

Every cell of my body is dying, around 1011 cells of my body are dying every single day, then how am I alive? Well, when all my body cells are dying (except nerve cells i.e. neurons), I should have died, but it’s not the case as because they are taking birth and dying simultaneously keeping our body in a state of dynamic equilibrium. Yah it keeps me alive but I no more stay myself. Studies say every 7 years or so we no more stay the older us, as if you take from now, all the cells or constituents of your body will be replaced by some newer versions of their own self.

That’s pretty interesting that a death always paves a birth in our body and even in nature. In our body whenever a cell dies, its functions are taken over by some newborn young cells it is like leaving the place for younger ones like retirement. The difference is there is no retirement policy, they all are employed till their last breath and they retire only when they die.

But, what if they don’t die? Well, that is the case with cancer. Cancer cells are generally our own body cells whose genes are somehow altered in a way that they deny to die and continue to grow. Growth demands for resources, which they snatch from their neighbors, letting the neighbors starve and when the accommodation doesn’t fit them (due excessive growth throughout lifetime) they migrate to some other part of the body and colonize and affect the part as done previously.

Death is actually nature’s way of availing space for the new, a part of nature’s mechanism that allows the good things to come up and removing the bad.

Yah, death is associated to grief, the feeling of loosing the near and dear, but, it is equally the time which avails space for newcomers. And death is just a way in which nature improves itself by availing space for something fresh.

"The hour of departure has arrived, and we go separate ways, I to die, and you to live. Which of these to is better only God knows."                                                     -Socrates.
